The PCM Group of Industries is one of India's leading business conglomerates. It was established in 1960 by Punam Chand Mittal in Hasimara, a small village in North Bengal. Especially for the railway market, the PCM Group has 580 employees engaged in the manufacture of concrete sleepers and rail fastenings, the production of alloys for rail manufacture, and state-of-the-art procedures to weld the rails, both in the factory and on-site during the laying process.
