Project details:
- LIS-type ballasted track sleepers were selected for most of the line section, since they are ideal for extensive use in a tramway environment. The sleepers are also preassembled with rail-fastening systems, making the job of installation easier
- RHEDA CITY was used for the sections in the tram stations and depot, since this ballastless track system is suitable for all cover variations (i.e. grass, plaster or concrete)
- The narrow window of opportunity for delivery posed a challenge. The sleepers were transported from Neumarkt to Bergen in a very short period of time by flat container, goods vehicle and ferry
- RAILONE supplied over 23,000 LIS-type ballasted track sleepers and 730 linear meters of RHEDA CITY
