In the railway network of the power plant operator RWE, brown coal trains run with axle loads of 35 tons, in exceptional cases, however, up to 45 tons due to overloading. So-called railway scales are used to record the quantities of brown coal transported. During the passage of the train, the individual axle loads are being recorded, thus enabling the load quantity to be determined. RAILONE was commissioned to carry out the entire planning and construction monitoring for the design of the weighbridge in the RHEDA 2000® ballastless track system.
