Slab track technology has developed significantly over the past 50 years. Today, highly developed solutions are available for a wide range of different uses, which have now also been integrated into a comprehensive set of industry standards. This standardization, combined with efficient construction methods, ensures that ballastless track is not only economical for new constructions and high-speed lines, but also in many other areas where there are particularly high demands on the reliability and availability of the track superstructure.
