The B 07 sleeper was developed to meet the increased requirements of railway traffic. With the aim of further improving the track-position stability, the geometry of this sleeper type was optimized and the weight of the sleeper was significantly increased. These two features essentially distinguish it from the standard sleeper of many network operators, for example the tried and tested B 70. As a result of the further development, the B 07 meets the special requirements of high-speed traffic as well as those of heavily loaded lines with mixed traffic.
