The AI 04 sleeper type offers an optimum safety standard even at the highest speeds. The sleeper was originally designed for the Spanish high-speed network, where it has been used successfully at speeds of up to 350 km/h. It also meets the requirements of the EN, AREMA and UPRR standards. Distinguished by its particular flexibility, the sleeper can be supplied with, for example, a sole, fastening systems from different manufacturers and various derailment protection systems, depending on the customer's needs.
