Ballastless track

Ballastless tracks are characterized by outstanding track geometry, permanent position stability and maximum availability, which makes them ideal for high-speed lines in particular. Thanks to these properties, ballastless track has established itself in the construction of numerous high-speed networks. Their low maintenance costs and high ride comfort make them particularly attractive. The low space requirement of slab tracks also allows for more flexible track layout. In many cases, especially in tunnel and bridge construction, this leads to significantly lower construction costs compared to conventional ballasted track. Proven systems such as the RHEDA 2000® system, which has been used successfully for over 25 years in numerous high-speed networks in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, are perfectly suited to this area of application.
