The tunnel is part of the reconstruction, modernization, and new construction of a double-track railroad line running from Belgrade via Stara Pazova, Novi Sad, and Subotica to the Hungarian state border, with the tunnel itself located on the Stara Pazova and Novi Sad railroad line. The tunnel is designed for train speeds of up to 200 km/h and has a total length of approximately 2.3 km. To meet the client's drainage concept, RAILONE manufactured specially shortened RHEDA 2000® bi-block sleepers that perfectly and reliably meet the special requirements on site.
RZD International started track works in early December 2020 and completed by the end of 2021.
