Jinjeop - Danggogae, South-Korea: RHEDA 2000® installed in Subway of fascinating Seoul

Seoul Subway Line 4 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway is the long line crossing from the southwest to the northeast across the Seoul National Capital Area. It is a 14.9 km RHEDA 2000® ballastless track system. This system was chosen and approved because it does not require much track maintenance as compared to the traditional systems. It is very cost effective and reliable as it utilizes concrete sleepers as superior quality precast concrete building components in the critical area of the rail-seat zone. This line is an intercity railway line running from Seoul to Gyeongin Province. The construction of this line began in December 2014 and was completed in December 2021.
