From planning to turnkey handover: In 2014, RAILONE built a plant for the production of concrete sleepers in Algeria. It supports the development of the Algerian railway industry and the implementation of the ambitious plans for modernisation and new construction of the infrastructure there. A special feature is the modern carousel production technology, with which prestressed concrete sleepers and conventionally reinforced bi-block sleepers can be produced for the Algerian market at the same time. RAILONE also took over product development and the sleeper design for this project. In addition, the product approvals and commissioning of the plant were accompanied by experienced technicians and engineers.
